Bradford College traces its origins to Bradford Academy , which was founded in , and used that date in its collegiate logo. The academy incorporated in The first president of Bradford was Dr. Katharine Denworth, a graduate of Swarthmore with a doctorate from Columbia. These courses are offered at Entry Level 1, 2 and 3 and Level 1 at which stage you will be able to access other vocational courses. Part-time courses are offered at our main campus and at various venues in the community. Our highly qualified tutors will help you to achieve a qualification in ESOL Skills for Life appropriate for your level and you will be taught using the latest technology in a student-friendly environment.

Free Courses in English and Mathematics We offer a range of FREE English and Mathematics courses, at various centres in the Bradford area, for adults aged 19 or over, to allow you to achieve a nationally-recognised qualification. We offer a supportive and engaging learning environment to support all levels from Entry Level to Level 2. These courses start in September and finish in June.

For these English and Mathematics courses, there are no formal entry requirements. You will be required to complete an assessment and, based upon that, you will be allocated a class at the appropriate level.
