Although it is painful to lose Ann, her legacy of kindness and strength will surely live on. Tessa Yrastorza Tuestad. I have only met Ann once or twice at the family gatherings of the Pastors. She was taken by the Lord to be with Him. May her family feel the presence of the Divine Mercy and all our thoughts and prayers.
I am a long time friend of Ann, back from the late 70's, and since then I had the chance to meet and chat with her after mass at St. Peter's church, where I can feel her strong faith and devotions to God. I also hear about her through my sister Emily Dimzon.
I know Ann's life is changed, but not ended, where she's now in a better place. Rest in peace, Ann, you will always be remembered. Eva Obleada. Eternal rest grant unto her o Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. God bless!!! From your friends, Classe '46, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Dear Gino and Patrizia: It was with great sadness to hear of Ann's passing. Ann was always so generous, kind and hospitable. I will always remember our time together when she taught me how to cook Italian, just like Gino's mom.
She also had a good sense of humour; of course, the Pilipino type. She was an incredible woman, an example, really, by the way she carried on living her life to the full. We will miss her tremendously. She was always a regular stop when we visited Vancouver at Christmas time. Go in the Peace of God, Ann. May you rest in peace! Our prayers are with you Gino and Patrizia! My deepest sympathy to all of you at this most difficult time in your lives. I have known Ann only in talks with her sister Cora; her amazing strength, faith and living life to the fullest is a blessing and much to admire.

We can not bargain nor beg. We can only pray for courage, strength and light. I am comforted by the thought that when my time comes, familiar faces will be waiting for me on the other end. But, our pain and suffering and learning to live without Ann had just began. Your sisters-in-law, aunts, and cousins will always be there with both of you. She will be sadly missed , but her memory will live in each of us.
She will have her greatly deserved rest. May you rest in peace, Ann. It is with deep regret to hear of Ann's passing, through her sister, my long time friend and classmate, Choni, who I also consider my sister. So, I too feel I lost a sister. From many comments by those who loved her and from knowing the large expanse of the Pastor clan, Ann was a quiet yet strong presence , always leading by example. My deepest condolences at the passing of Ann, a classmate since kindergarten and a part of my growing up years.
May the angels in heaven welcome her and may The Lord keep her in the palm of his hand and grant her eternal joy and happiness. She was a shining example of what is truly good and what we cherish. I am sorry that I only got to keep in touch with her virtually through Choni, but I will keep her in my prayers.
